We are excited to be offering a jazz pedagogy clinic on Friday May 11th.  The clinic is open to all directors who would like to attend.  The clinic will begin at 9:30AM and will run for about 2 hours (9:30-11:30).  The clinic will be presented by our Director of Jazz Studies, Dr. Andy Nevala.  The clinic will include creating a jazz ensemble/program.  It will also cover the topics of: rhythm section techniques, articulations, literature, improvisation studies, and much more.  Please come out and learn more ideas and strategies for improving your jazz program.  The clinic will be located in Self Hall and is scheduled not to conflict with other Honor Band activities.
